Spanish verb hacer So now you see the links to the HAG. 'I make', in Spanish, is yo hago (or just hago). "I MAKE a HARE stew!" says the HAG!
- Likewise you can see now the link to: the hapless HARE (haré, harás, hará etc) , and to:
- the HISSING - hiciera, hicieras, hiciese etc.

Spanish to make-do is hacer Notice the hag- prefix for yo in the present tense, is used as the present subjunctive prefixes. This is a general rule for all Spanish subjunctives! Check out other verb tables and you'll see that pattern repeated a lot. Don't worry if you don't understand subjunctives... just put that one away and one day it will click.

Spanish for do, to make is hacer hicieron una casa: they built a house
¿te hiciste daño?: have you hurt yourself?
