1. Are some letters just illegible squiggles
--------------------------------------
Does your newsletter come with certain letters contorted and not displaying properly. This is because some email filters will disable the html (the code in which the we write the newsletter).
If your newsletter is arriving with letters and foreign accents all looking like strange illegible squiggles then subscribe again and opt for TEXT formatting (rather than the html formatting) or tell your filtering software to stop disabling the html!
The same will apply to any other newsletters you may be getting where certain letters or letters with foreign accents end up as funny squiggles.
--------------------------------------

We've just completed a couple of courses - 101 Spanish Proverbs

1. Each proverb is voiced by a native Spanish or French speaker, as appropriate.
2. The picture is taken from the 200 Words a Day! Course reflecting one of the main words in the proverb.
3. By clicking on the pic you can see the word and Memory Trigger again, as they appear in the other courses.
So the courses are great for consolidating your learning as they will:

Be careful of the SENSIBLE false friends. A false friend (falso amigo ) is a word in Spanish that you think means the same thing in English, but does not.
The word SENSIBLE in Spanish actually means Sensitive in English.
The word SENSIBLE in English is sensato in Spanish for a male, and is sensata for a female.

Another Spanish word for 'brain sense', smarts or common sense is 'la sensatez'.
el tiene sensatez.
...another way to say ...he has common sense...

5. Spanish Cartoon: the Spanish word for hotel? Is it masculine or feminine
