Daily Verb Lesson: French for scrape is cureter
The French for scrape (to) is the regular ER verb cureter (à).To remember this, imagine Madame CURIE scrapes the wound to CURE IT!
cureter is not a common word for to scrape but a specific medical word which refers to removing foreign bodies from a wound.
