USING the SPANISH VERB parecer

parecer (de) can also mean: to appear, to resemble.
parecerse a: to look like.
parecer + inf: to seem to + inf.
parecer ser : to seem to be.
Parece tonto / complicado / perezosa.: It seems silly / complicated / lazy.

el parecer (nm): opinion.
a mi parecer: in my opinion.
Soy del parecer de que... I believe that...
Soy del mismo parecer: I am of the same opinion.
de buen parecer.: handsome (of nice appearance).

así parece: it would seem so.
Parece que va a nevar: It seems/looks like it's going to snow.
Parece mentira que ... It seems hard to believe that...

vos replaces tú - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular ER verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for tú except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
Presente: vos parecés
Imperativo: ¡parecé!
