Spanish Verb PEGAR: to strike
The Spanish verb pegar means 'to strike' and is an irregular Spanish AR verb.

pegarle a alguien: to hit somebody.
pegarse: to stick, to hit/knock oneself.
pegarse a alguien: to latch on to somebody.

el pegamento (nm): glue, adhesive.
quedarse pegado: to be electrocuted.

vos replaces tú - you, informal, singular - - in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America. Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'. In irregular AR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for tú except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
