Spanish Verb SUBIR: to go up

The Spanish verb subir means 'to go up' and is a regular Spanish IR verb.

Spanish verb subir - go up Subir can also mean: to rise, to raise; to climb; to take up,
to lift; to upload (internet).
subir a algo to get into something.
subirse (vr): to go up; to climb.

Spanish to go up is subir la subida (nf): rise, climb, ascent (of slope).
subido/a (adj): intense, deep (e.g. color).

Spanish for go up is subir Ahora subo: I'm coming up now.
subir a bordo: to get on board.
subir al tren: to board the train.
subir la mano: to raise one's hand.
subir (el volumen de) la radio: to turn the volume/radio up.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In regular IR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
Presente:      vos subís
Imperativo:  ¡subí!
