Spanish Verb ABRAZAR: to hug

The Spanish verb abrazar means 'to hug' and is an irregular Spanish ZAR verb.

To remember this, imagine a Russian man (m) hugs A BRASS TSAR statue!

Spanish verb abrazar - to hug abrazar can also mean: to embrace, to hold tight.
abrazarse (vr): to hug/embrace each other.
abrazarse a alguien: to cling to / to hold on to someone.
abrazarse fuerte: to hold someone tight.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.

In irregular ZAR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
